This opportunity is now closed. It's kept here for reference — browse current openings for active listings.

Arla Foods Nigeria, makers of Dano Milk, has opened its 2026 Internship Programme for graduates who’ve completed NYSC. It’s paid, spans departments like HR, supply chain, finance, and marketing, and applications close 31 July 2026. Apply now by sending your CV to arlangcareers@arlafoods.com with the job title as your subject line.

Arla Foods Nigeria, the company behind Dano Milk, has opened its 2026 Internship Programme. If you just finished NYSC and you’re looking for where to cut your teeth in a proper corporate environment, this one is worth your time.

Dano has been in Nigerian homes for decades. Arla Foods, the parent company, is actually a cooperative owned by about 13,500 dairy farmers. That’s the kind of structure sitting behind the milk tin your mama uses every morning. Now they want fresh graduates to come and learn the ropes on their team.

Who Can Apply

You need a bachelor’s degree, any course. They’re not restricting it to a particular field of study. You must have finished your NYSC already, so this one isn’t for corpers still serving.

Beyond that, they want people who can move around Microsoft Office comfortably: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. There’s also a requirement for working knowledge of AI tools, which shows Arla is paying attention to how work actually gets done these days, not just the old-school way. Good communication and presentation skills matter too, since you’ll likely sit in meetings and maybe present ideas at some point.

Where the Slots Are

From what’s out there, internship openings cut across several departments: human resources, supply chain, finance, and marketing, among others. So whether your background leans toward people management, numbers, or creative work, there’s a good chance something fits what you studied.

What You Stand to Gain

This isn’t one of those “come and suffer, no pay” internships. Arla runs a paid programme, so you get a monthly stipend while you’re learning. You also work directly under experienced professionals who’ll show you how things run in a proper multinational: real project work, not just photocopying and running errands.

Arla has also said outstanding interns can be considered for full employment after the programme ends. So if you carry yourself well and impress the right people, this could turn into something more permanent.

How to Apply

This is the part you need to pay close attention to. To apply, send your CV to arlangcareers@arlafoods.com. Don’t just send it with “CV attached” as the subject. Use the job title or department you want as your subject line instead, something like “Application for Marketing Internship” or “Application for HR Internship.”

Make sure your CV is arranged well before you send it. Put your education, your NYSC details, and anything that shows you can handle responsibility: leadership roles in school, projects, volunteering, whatever you have.

Deadline

Based on the latest listing, applications for this round close on 31 July 2026. That’s barely a few days away, so don’t sit on this one. Send your application now instead of waiting till the last day, when the mailbox might already be flooded.

One thing worth knowing: Arla doesn’t seem to run just one internship intake a year. Past rounds have closed at different points, some in November, some in February, before this current one opened. So even if this window shuts before you’re ready, keep checking, because another round could come later in the year.

Final Word

If you’ve got your first degree, you’ve rounded off NYSC, and you want real exposure in a company that actually pays its interns, the Arla Foods Nigeria Internship 2026 is worth applying for. Get your CV sorted, pick the department that matches your strength, and send that mail before the deadline meets you sha.
