OOU Post-UTME/DE registration for 2026/2027 closes Wednesday, 22nd July 2026. Eligible: candidates who chose OOU with a JAMB score of 160+, or 160+ scorers willing to switch to OOU before registering. Screening (CBT) holds 3rd–7th August at OOU Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye. Fee is ₦2,000, paid only through the official portal as OOU has no registered agents.
Olabisi Onabanjo University announced it will shuts its Post-UTME portal on Wednesday, 22nd July 2026. If you chose OOU in your 2026 UTME and haven’t registered yet, this is the week to sort it out now. Screening itself doesn’t start until August, but the portal that gets you into that exam hall closes in a matter of days, and OOU has not been in the habit of extending deadlines for stragglers.
Who Can Still Register
Two groups qualify. The first is anyone who picked OOU as first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 160. The second is anyone who scored 160 or above but chose a different school, and is willing to switch their first choice to OOU on JAMB CAPS before starting the Post-UTME form. That switch has to happen before registration, not after, so if you’re in this group, handle it today.
Direct Entry candidates who meet the university’s requirements are also eligible to apply through the same window.
Screening Dates and Format
Once registration closes, OOU runs its screening as a Computer-Based Test from 3rd to 7th August 2026, at the Main Campus in Ago-Iwoye. There’s no walk-in option and no separate paper exam track everyone sits the CBT.
The Fee, and a Word of Caution for you
Registration costs ₦2,000, paid only through the official OOU portal. The university has repeatedly warned that it has no registered agents, and every admission cycle brings a fresh wave of people offering to “help” candidates register or guarantee a spot for a fee. There is no such shortcut. If someone reaches out promising admission outside the portal, that’s your sign to walk away.
Candidates who mismatch their JAMB number or upload the wrong details during registration risk having their application thrown out entirely, so it’s worth double-checking your UTME registration number against your JAMB slip before you submit payment.
Wednesday isn’t far off. If OOU is on your list, this week is the one that decides whether you get a seat in that CBT hall in August.
